Eagleswell Primary School is a county mixed day school catering for children from 3 to 11 years. Situated in the seaside town of Llantwit Major, which in a recent survey, was voted one of the best places to live in Britain.
This small coastal town on the heritage coast in the Vale of Glamorgan, has a population of 14,000 and is home to commuters who work in Cardiff, Wales’ capital city, which is twenty miles away, and Barry and Bridgend, and tourists who enjoy the peace and quiet of this old town, with a shingle beach overlooking the Bristol Channel.
We pride ourselves on our caring ethos and we seek to establish an environment which is happy and secure for teaching and learning to take place. We enjoy celebrating the achievements of our children and we regularly present them with awards.
Parents who are considering sending their children to the school are welcome to visit the Headteacher, by appointment, and if required, arrangements can be made for an extended visit.
